Blood flows through an artery of diameter d and length L, and the pressure difference between the ends of the artery is (change in) P. If the diameter is reduced by a factor of three and the pressure difference is kept the same, what happens to the flow rate? The flow rate is reduced by a factor of ________? I thought the answer would be 1/3^4 or 1/81 but all wrong
