similarities between the 17th century culture with the modern day culture?

I can't think of anything right now except for theater because it was practiced in 17th century and till now. That's one of the oldest professions people did in the past even before the 17th century, but in our Modern day, we mainly use the Italian and Elizabethan theater more often which existed in the 17th and 18th centuries.

It can be anything (that was practiced in the past ofc), not only theater, but that's what I think
