What makes a parliamentary government different from the United States? (2 points) It has a unitary central government that exercises complete control over smaller units of government, like states. It does not have a president or other executive authority that enforces laws and policy separate from lawmakers. Its local or individual state governments have full sovereignty and only coordinate activities for mutual defense. Its legislature has authority over the executive branch, with the ability to select and remove executive leaders.
