@iGreen help me (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

secant is hypotenuse over adjacent

OpenStudy (igreen):

Sorry, I'm just starting Module 6 on Geometry..lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for example \[\sec(B)=\frac{6}{7}\] which is not an option, so no secant is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how will I know to put hypotenuse over adjacent? and haha, @iGreen okay thank you anyways

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cotangent is adjacent over opposite

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@izthewiz7 you know it because you memorize what secant is also memorize sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent and cosecant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\cot(B)=\frac{6}{3}=2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, I definely got to go back and review.. lol I don't remember. so its C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\cot(C)=\frac{3}{6}=\frac{1}{2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no C is wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i thought the hypotenuse is the longer side?? @satellite73
