For making a scatter plot of the data set, which would be the best scale and interval for the axis that represents the amount of fluoride? Data table showing water and fluoride (Points : 1) 1 to 4 with intervals of 1 0 to 4 with intervals of 0.2 0 to 4 with intervals of 2 2 to 5 with intervals of 0.5

Which statement is true? (Points : 1) This scatter plot has two clusters and one outlier. This scatter plot has no clusters and one outlier. This scatter plot has one cluster and no outliers. This scatter plot has no clusters and no outliers

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

definitely 1 outlier...however idk if there is 1 or 2 clusters...it looks like it has 1 definitely...but idk if that little one is considered one lol

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

oh wait...doesnt matter..A lol B says no...but there IS at least 1 cluster so A :D

The scatter plot shows how many desks and computers were found in 12 different offices. How many offices had more than 6 computers? (Points : 1) 12 11 7 6

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Since they say MORE THAN 6....we cannot count that 1 ON 6 so 11

A parking lot can hold cars and small trucks. The scatter plot shows how many cars and trucks parked at the parking lot each day for a week. What is the daily average number of cars parked at the lot that week? Round to the nearest tenth, if necessary. (Points : 1) 5 4.5 4.1 3.5

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

So we count how many cars there were....at the 6 on the axis up to the 3 would mean there were 6 cars....etc... so count how many cars there were total....and divide that by the number of points that are on the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ughhhhhh i need to do it again

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

let me know if you need help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes i got 3 of them wrong

Student Answer: This scatter plot has two clusters and one outlier. This scatter plot has no clusters and one outlier. This scatter plot has one cluster and no outliers. This scatter plot has no clusters and no outliers The first picture for the 2nd question The scatter plot shows how many desks and computers were found in 12 different offices. How many offices had 11 computers? Student Answer: 1 2 3 4
