What is the soultion of -4x+3y=-12 and -2x+3y=-18?

Multiply the second equation by -2 to get \[ 4x - 6y = 36 \]Add to the first equation to get \[ -3y = 24 \implies y = -8 \]and now substitute into any of the equations to get x. Can you finish from here?
