So to solve these, you use either the method of elimination or substitution.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So for the first one...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This one can be solved using substitution: 4x - 2y 10 (2x - y = 5) * -2 4x - 2y = 10 -2x + 2y = -10 -------------- 0 = 0 knowing this, what is the answer to the first one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*4x - 2y = 10 -4x + 2y = 10

Anyway, solve the rest like that too and you will get all the answers you need. If you need more help, there are plenty of helpful links online that explain this very well! :) It's really not difficult once you understand it.

I'm not really sure what you did there ..
