Ok so the vertex of the parabola can be found using a graphing calc. but differently depending on the calculator. Which calculator are you using?

A Ti-89? 84 Plus? It's a bit different depending on your calculator dude.

In general, you will want to plug in the equation into the "Y=" in your calculator, then use the Trace key to get as close to the highest or lowest point on your graph
