Does the word "appeasement" have the same meaning as "euthanasia"
a. autonomy b. agitation c. amity d. xenophobia e. euthanasia
i feel like its E
euthanasia: the painless killing of a patient suffering from an incurable and painful disease or in an irreversible coma. The practice is illegal in most countries.
i know the definition.... im asking if euthanasia would best fit the word appeasement @iGreen
the definitions are totally different so i don't think so.
nothing else makes sense..... euthanasia is to put to sleep calmly... appeasement is to calm...
Appeasement is being satisfied..isn't it?
yeah to satisfy or relieve
then what would the best choice be?
my vocab book says "appease, To calm or satisfy"
Calm- euthanasia to put down calmly...
To me, euthanasia is the only choice that somewhat makes sense
Autonomy: Freedom from external control or influence Agitation: Anxious or Nervous feeling Amity: Friendship Xenophobia: Dislike or Fear of strangers Euthanasia: Easy painless death
Either Autonomy or Euthanasia I guess..go with whatever you think is best..
ok. thanks guys
