Which sentence uses punctuation correctly? A. Because she hopes to become a doctor my cousin volunteers at the local clinic, every weekend. B. My cousin because she hopes to become a doctor, volunteers at the local clinic every weekend. C. My cousin, because she hopes to become a doctor, volunteers at the local clinic every weekend. D. Because she hopes to become a doctor my cousin volunteers at the local clinic every weekend. Is it D? Not at all sure. I feel there is supposed to be a comma between "doctor" and "my"... @liza14 @SuperflyTyGuy

OpenStudy (superflytyguy):

Yes! Definitely D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (superflytyguy):

Yes right after "doctor"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the assessment is incorrect...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's not my problem though.

OpenStudy (superflytyguy):

D is right, the other ones are fragments

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. Thanks. That was all. If I need any more help, I'll reference you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (superflytyguy):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (superflytyguy):

Holy cow, I see why now! I didn't see the second comma before!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok. Its fine. I got a passing grade.

OpenStudy (superflytyguy):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
