SA = 2(wl + hl + hw)
SA = 2(\(\rm \color{red}{4*9}\) + \(\rm \color{red}{11*9}\) + \(\rm \color{red}{11*4}\))

First do all the multiplication in the parenthesis, then you add all the products together. Once you add them together, you multiply the sum by \(\rm \color{red}{2}\)

SA = 2 * 3.14 * rh + 2 * 3.14 * \(\rm \color{rd}{r^2}\)
SA = 2 * 3.14 * 7.5 * 15 + 2 * 3.14 * \(\rm 7.5^2\)

First do the exponent \(\rm 7.5^2\)
7.5 * 7.5 = 56.25
Now plug in 56.25 where \(\rm 7.5^2\) was

SA = 2 * 3.14 * 7.5 * 15 + 2 * 3.14 * 56.25

Do all the multiplication left to right first, then the addition.
