Okay. First of all, earthquakes occur at all types of plate margins (convergent, divergent and transform plate margins). Just research those and you'll understand. You can also research the Nazca and south American plate (C) and check out an earthquake distribution map.

I see that the South equatorial wind seems to be stronger than the rest and it's travelling west as well. I'm not sure as I've never done this before but, I'll go with 30 s. It seems close enough :/
