help!
The process where a virus takes a segment of DNA from one bacterial cell and inserts it in another bacterial cell is known as transformation mutation transduction conjugation i think the 2 last ones but not sure...
is more than one correct ?
Nopes, only one is correct
no just 1 but im torn apart
by the 2 answers of course
Conjugation is the process in which DNA is transfered from one bacterium to another by cell to cell contact.
Transduction is the process in which DNA from one bacterium is transferred to another by a virus.
so its conjugation based on your definition right?
No, its transduction.
but you said its moved from one bacterium to another another virus so wouldn't it be conjugation?
Conjugation is when transfer of DNA takes place by cell to cell contact and Transduction is when transfer is done by a virus.
oh lol sorry i got it mixed up i should pay more attention
