What is the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you click the puus it shows you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you mean equal to \[x^{4}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay one sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know

OpenStudy (zpupster):

look at Kevin as (x^1/3)^12 = x^(1/3*12) or x^4

OpenStudy (zpupster):

look at tom x^1/4*x^5/4*x^9/4 * x^1/4 here you add and they all have common demoniator so x ^ (1/4 + 5/4 + 9/4 + 1/4) or x^ 16/4 x^4

OpenStudy (zpupster):

now Deb (x^3 *x^5 * x^8) ^ 1/4 first add exponents 3+ 5 + 8 or (x^16)^1/4 now multiply 16*1/4 x^4

OpenStudy (zpupster):

now Joe x^5/4 * x^7/4 *x^-1/4 add these first x^11/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

who is correct?

OpenStudy (zpupster):

look at what i showed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kevin
