what category of cells are animal cells(eukaryote/prokaryote)? What about plant cells? Explain why.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Hi @nancyle789 ! Both plant and animal cells are eukaryotic.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

All the cells having a true nucleus i.e a membrane bound nucleus and membrane bound organelles are considered as eukaryotes. Both plant and animal cells have membrane bound nucleus and membrane bound organelles like mitochondria, golgi complex etc.
