What do the meninges and the cerebrospinal fluid have in common?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A.Both help information pass through the spinal cord. B.Both are involved in protecting the brain. C.Both affect sleeping and waking patterns. D.Both are involved in physical coordination and balance.

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

Well, the meninges contain 3 layers in our cortex, and they are for protection for the cortex, so I would go with B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you ever got meningitis you would know!. I would go with B as @alphadxg did, because the meninges are located just below the skull (seperated from it by fluid in the brain) and the cerebrospinal fluid also acts like an insulation medium that prevents shocks affecting the spinal cord and brain.
