hello guys.i want to ask a question.if i have 2 ac sources 2 diodes(1 for each ac source) and a load, which can be affected from both sources, will the Vp add up.I mean if the 2 ac sources have vp=vmax=10v then it is possible that vout=vload=20v?

how is the diode placed with repect to the sources? now without mentioning about the amplitude phase and frequency of the signal the question cannot be properly answered.. now if the sine waves are of same frequency and same phase and if they are in series with the diodes blocking their negative voltages, yes the output would be sum of the amplitudes of the individual voltages.. now if the signals are of diffrent frequency..the output wont even be a sin wave.. it would have the lower frequency of the two. now if the signals are of same freq and diff phase.. they can be completly added (0 dgree or 360) or completly cancelled(180).. in all other cases the output would be having amplitude in between 2vp and 0
