Which property would allow you to use mental computation to simplify the problem 27 + 15 + 3 + 5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think they want you to say that if you add \(27+3\) you get \(30\) and hten \(15+5=20\) so the answer is \(50\) even without your calculator that is the the commutative law

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

The commutative property of addition states: you can add the terms in the sum in any order.
