Write the adjacency matrix

Keep in mind that most people that use this site are here for help with things like algebra, geometry and pre/calc. There aren't a lot of us that are familiar with graph theory.

To clarify, does the subscript denote the number of vertices, and the superscript refers to the degree of the adjacency matrix?

I'll assume that the answer to both questions is yes.

Here's \(C_5\) (which I'm assuming means cycle, and not complete - depends on the notation you're using).

and here's \(P_5\) (which I'm assuming means path - I can't recall if \(P\) is used for any other type of graph...).
