Heterozygous- The genetics term heterozygous refers to a pair of genes where one is dominant and one is recessive — they're different. Like all words with the prefix hetero, this has to do with things that are different — specifically genes. Homozygous- A cell is said to be homozygous for a particular gene when identical alleles of the gene are present on both homologous chromosomes. I THINK it might be A., but it's been a while since I've done this.

Yes, the individual #8 is heterozygous because her father is homozygous for recessive trait. So she must have recieved one recessive allele from him.
