The equation that describes the change in temperature of a solvent due to a solute is Tb = i x Kb x molality. How much salt would one need to add to 1 kg water to change the boiling temperature by 5 C? Give your answer in moles. Show your work. (Kb = 0.51 C / (Mol/kg) ) for water and i = 2 for NaCl.)
