The Slavs were from Russia, Crimea, etc.

A Slav is a a member of a group of peoples in central and eastern Europe speaking Slavic languages. A viking is any of the Scandinavian seafaring pirates and traders who raided and settled in many parts of northwestern Europe in the 8th-11th centuries. I hope this helps. :)
