solve: 3x - 2x + 4 = 5x - 4x - 8 A) 3 B) -3 C) no solution D) infinitely many solutions

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

ok, combine like terms you will have 1x+4 = 1x - 8 Then subtract 8 from each side --> 1x + 12 = 1x then subtract 1x from the right side --> 12 = 0x or 12 = 0 and I believe that is no solution

thank you
