Yesterday ,a parking lot had 60 cars parked in it. Of the cars parked in the parking lot 40% were silver, 14 red, and the rest were blue how many cars were blue A 24 cars B 38 cars C 22 cars D 6 cars

okay so the first step is to convert the 40% silver into an actual figure. so in order to do that we get the total amount of cars (60) and divide that by 0.4 (40%) you should have gotten 24 now all you do is take 24 from 60 which comes out to be 36, then take away the 14 red cars which comes out to be 22. so you would have 22 blue cars in the lot. so, in this case your answer is C 22
