You could even make a story out of it if you wanted to. At the beginning of the day, Mandy had made zero bags to start with. At time 1, made x number of handbags. At time 2, Mandy stopped to take a break. At time 3, Mandy continued and made y handbags. At time 3, Mandy rested again. By the end of the day, Mandy had made z number of handbags.
