Medal Or Fan!!!! Choose the graph that correctly corresponds to the equation y = -6. graph a horizontal line through the point (0, negative 6) graph of a line with positive slope graph of a line with negative slope graph of a vertical line through the point (negative 6, 0)

Nnesha (nnesha):

slope intercept form equation is y = mx + b where m is slope which is with x is there any x ????

Nnesha (nnesha):

@kaylamarie081 :)

OpenStudy (gamer56):

What do you think it is first?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It doesn't say anything about X. All it says is Y :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Nnesha

Nnesha (nnesha):

yep there is not x so that mean there is no slope

Nnesha (nnesha):

that equation is y = b where b is y-intercept and this equation doesn't have slope and its only touches the y-axis

Nnesha (nnesha):

@kaylamarie081

Nnesha (nnesha):

vertical line which only touches x'axis

Nnesha (nnesha):

like i said y = b y =- 6 ( -6 is your y-intercept ) as you know y-intercept touches y-ax's and when x is 0 so when you graph this at ( 0 , -6) you have to make line which only touches y-axis and known as horizontal line

Nnesha (nnesha):

if you have this kinda question x =-6 then you should draw vertical line

Nnesha (nnesha):

hope you understand :)
