i do not think gravity is responsible to create photons.. one of the reasons for creation of photons is accelerating or decelerating of charged particle.

We have not figured out what the light actually is yet, it shows the two different features depending on our experiments. i think it has a feature that is superposition of wave and particle and we do not see this superposition state, it is far beyond our understanding. as we have almost no visual information about the four or more dimensional spatial dimension, our brain can only figure 3 or less spatial dimension out. But light has not mass. If it had mass, its speed would change with frame of reference. According to Special relativity, speed of light is independent of the frame of reference. However, it has even mass, it has to be smaller than 10^-51 kg, but i am not sure about that..

According to GR the source of gravity is the stress-energy tensor. There are 10 independent components in the stress-energy tensor. Energy is only one of those 10 components. and since photons are energy packets they are a source of gravity.

but u have heard about the experiment, not famous but quiet interesting... that..
two people spin a copper or some other sort of metal which can induce emf by variations in magnetic forces... the same principle of Induced emf in motors/generratores..

when they spinned a part of that circular coil like a swinging rope in which an galvanometer is conected. . what they observed is when they spinn, the earths gravitaional feild is acting as our house hold magnetic feild creating induced emf in to the coil recorded by that meter...

what we can know about it is as gravitaional feild is nothing but magnetic feild..
Ofcourse u can say that a 3 year old kid can say that our earth is an giant magnet.. but in other thoughts.. earths gravitaional feild have the same properties of magnetic feild...

and u may also aware of Mr.photon.. he travels a long distance with great speed .. and interestingly it is dual natured particle... so it do have mass.. and charge. then how come a mass have dual nature?? does the mass itself travels in a ding dong way.. no...
the mass will only travel through a straight line... but the ding dong is caused by both electrical an magnetic feild by a photon..

you may aware of helmholtzs coil experiment... old but still gold..

he did cancelled (partially ) earths gravitational feild by adjusting magnetic feild of two electric induced coils..... making a small portion of almost no gravitaional force space between those coils... just go through with it... and make some idea...

Earth's magnetic field strength is just half a gauss, so if i hold a magnet in my hand i can shake the earth itself very easily. Think about, LHC uses 10-Tesla superconductor magnets which is 200000 times stronger than the earth's magnetic field.

Helmholtz's experiment reminds me the diamagnetic levitation..

@harishk you should check General Relativity... Photon is attracted by black hole because it follows the curve which is made by black hole. A photon itself whether near the black hole or not, it moves without bend but the space itself is already curved then we see the photon is bended near the massive object. We can not see the curved space directly.

we know that if a current carrying copper coil creates magnetic feild and in the same fluctuating magnetic feild interacts with the same coil creating minute levels of induced electric feilds...

Think about whats happening in an atom... charged particles circling around ironically charged particles... what we get.. !!! attraction between atoms. between molecules.. between ... masses...

then why the hell masses aren't repelling each other...

--> imagine two bar magnets... equal masses, equal strengths..
now, take one of them and powder it.. into very small tiny micro metal particles...

still every tiny particle of that powdered magnet acts as an own magnet showing poles and fields,,..

Now, take those powdered particles and arrange it into the same bar shape...
1. check the magnetic strength of both magnets... what you think you will notice??
2. and take another new bar magnet and put it near to the first un powdered bar magnet... will can see attraction and repulsion actions...

Now put the bar magnet near to out powdered bar magnet. what can probably happens....

no matter what how many angles or how many sides you try .. it will try to attract... but not get repelled....

so , whats happening here...
the powdered magnets are rearranging themselves in more compatible way...

here, we are talking about atoms, not even micro powdered particles ...
so, every atom itself exhibits magnetic properties...

Think about this.. there is a room which is made lead which prevents electromagnetic radiation (Photon) to get into the room. The wider the rooms wall , the less photons get into the room.. so, imagine, you weighs yourself both in that room and exactly the same place but without room.. what would your conclusion ? According to your idea, there must be a difference.. you can perform this experiment and you will get the same result at both situation..

Role of Photons??

Just to get in to it.. we have to consider some statements into account,,,

1. Photon has mass... (i am also not sure.. but just to make some idea we have believe on something)
2. it is dual natured particle...
3. it cannot penetrate through any medium. even glass mediums...
4. its speed doesn't changes through out the reference... (copy-coned)

so, considered your room which prevents photon "passing" . and weighted myself inside the room and outside the room... result the same...

but when a photon hits the electron in an atom it changes its direction with low wavelength making the electron to be in its own exited state level and continuing it magnetic field... thats is the reason why we have radiations.. that is why i still weigh the same even in the room////

its not the photon that creates gravitaional field but causes for its creation...

every material creates its own radiation,,,
The materials that we think they are blocking radiation are themselves creating radiation but with low tendency's...
No matter we allow light/photon in tho the chamber or not, the material will create its own magnetic field, but just because of photons...

we all know that no matter can exist as it is all the time..in some how some manner it has to destroy or decompose itself into its parental form.. ENERGY..

Lets take two molecules of any element...
place one quiet exposed to sun light.. and place another so far to our own entire universe where you will never find a photon travelling towards it..

what you think can notice... ???
Does, there will be any change in the life span of those two molecules...???
If so, Why???
I not so, why not???

since your changing some thing in those two molecules life.. some thing should happen...
You can even state that, the molecule exposed to sun will die soon than the other one...

If your answer is So as said abve... then how come???

I got to admit it, I can't prove that gravity is the result of photons. But, that doesn't prove much. In fact I can't prove the existence of photons, but I'm pretty sure they are there. Maybe someone familiar with "Black Holes" can tell me it just full of photons because of the strong gravitational field.???....

@harishk if a photons energy high enough, the molecule or atom loose its electron and become ionized gas. The photon can also interacts with the nucleus, and causes nuclear reaction (photodisintegration) but in this case the photon energy must be too high compare to that interacts with atoms electron. Yes, there should be a difference as you said.. but this does not prove that photons is responsible to gravitation.
