What is a difference between ATP and ADP molecules?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When the phosphate is lost from ATP then the energy it is carrying is released. So basically ADP is just what you get when ATP has been used.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a difference in energy atp loses one posphate and you get adp and adp just has less energy with one less posophate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

leaving it with 2 instead of 3

hope i could help ;(
