You can use wolfram alpha as a calculator http://www.wolframalpha.com/ type in "sec(8)" and make sure you are in radian mode

I tried mathway and it gave me 1.0098 but that wasn't right

that result was in degree form when they want radians

there is an option to switch to radian mode
