16x^2 − 40xy +25y^2 given the perfect square pattern a^2 − 2ab + b^2 = (a − b)^2 => (4x)^2 − 2(4x)(5y) + (5y)^2 => (4a − 5y)^2 or if you dont see the pattern 16 * 25 = 400 -20 * -20 = 400 -20 + -20 = -40 => 16x^2 − 20xy − 20xy + 25y^2 => 4x(4x − 5y) − 5y(4x − 5y) => (4x − 5y)(4x − 5y) => (4x − 5y)^2
hmm? why so many questionmarks lol.
