For 22, the y-intercept is where the figures meet on the y-axis. So what's the y-intercept of y = |x|? @a.prime

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 ? idk, im bad at math

OpenStudy (igreen):

No, it passes through the y-axis at 0..and the second one crosses the y-axis at -5. So the y-intercept of y = |x| is 0, and the y-intercept of the second one is -5.

OpenStudy (igreen):

So what's your answer for question 22 gonna be? @a.prime

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B @iGreen

OpenStudy (igreen):

I said the y-intercept for the first one is 0, the y-intercept for the second one is -5. 0 and -5 ARE NOT the same, so B isn't the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it D? /.\

@iGreen

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yep, that's right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about 23? @iGreen
