Write the expression x2 + 2x - 24 as a product of two linear expressions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How i do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A) during factoring, we want 2 linear expressions to equal the given quadratic expression. we find that (x+6)(x-4) would equal x^2+2x-24 B) (x-4)^2 C) they have the common factor of (x-4)

OpenStudy (igreen):

It wants you to factor them..can you do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if i factor 'em, would it be (x+6)(x−4)?

OpenStudy (midhun.madhu1987):
