OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u want the differences between them or the definitions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

Denotative- the actual definition of a word. Connotative-a cultural or implication of aforementioned word. Example: Cat Denotative: A mammal with four legs and incredible agility, feline. Connotative: the wet and furry thing that wakes me up in the mornings by licking my face. Does that make sense???
