Which is an example of a covalent bond? Chlorine accepts an electron from calcium to form a stable bond. Ions in a bar of pure iron are surrounded by a large number of valence electrons. There are less than 16 valence electrons in 2 chlorine atoms, but they form a stable bond.

what do u mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A statue is made of bronze, which is an alloy of about 80% copper and 20% tin. Which metal is in the higher concentration in this bronze statue? The concentrations of each metal in the statue are equal. The statue has a higher concentration of copper. Tin is more concentrated in the statue. @liaba

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Percent means how many parts out of 100 parts are copper or tin. Which means if the statue would weigh 100 pounds then 80 pounds of that would be copper and 20 pounds would be tin. Of which metal do you have more in the statue? Now you really should be able to figure it out...
