"The person is a former religious leader" seems like the only logical answer. Personally I don't think any of them truly answer the question spot on, but of the given choices, I would go with the first one. @chosenmatt The cartoon is representing a demagogue which is a person who gains power and popularity by playing on the emotions and passions of the population they're trying to get to support them.
