The basic social outcomes in Britain and other industrialized countries were similar, but important differences also characterized the process in other countries. Industrialization is the process of social and economic change that transforms a human group from a pre-industrial society into an industrial one. It is a part of a wider modernization process. Britain was industrialized first followed by the US.
