In which way did the Vietnam War and the Korean War end differently? The war in Korea ended with little bloodshed, in contrast with Vietnam. Vietnam was united, while Korea remained divided. Korea became Communist, while Vietnam became non-Communist. Vietnam remained divided, while Korea was united.

The Korean War was supported by more than just the United States. NATO forces assisted in many ways. Vietnam was pretty much a US only conflict, while China supported the North Vietnamese.
