OpenStudy (hulagirlmb):
Well, In order to find the area of a triangle you do base (b) multiplied by height (h) and then multiply that by 1/2
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok
OpenStudy (hulagirlmb):
Your equation would look like this\[b \times h \times \frac{ 1 }{ 2 }\]

im gonna post the pic for u to see
OpenStudy (hulagirlmb):
Ok

Ok so what's 14 times 35
OpenStudy (anonymous):
490
OpenStudy (hulagirlmb):
Ok now multiply that by 1/2 or .5
OpenStudy (hulagirlmb):
(In other words, cut 490 in half)

OpenStudy (hulagirlmb):
Ok, go through the same steps\[b \times h \times \frac{ 1 }{ 2 }\]
OpenStudy (hulagirlmb):
Ok, so now you have to be sure to get the correct height number. It will always be the one that goes down the middle of the triangle
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok
OpenStudy (hulagirlmb):
So insert the numbers into your formula (but not 5.6)

im only 12 and im confuse lol
OpenStudy (hulagirlmb):
I'm 12 too, so anyways. What you're gonna do is base (6.1 cm) times the height (4.8 cm)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yea u smarterr than me i just woke up for now
OpenStudy (hulagirlmb):
So what's 6.1 times 4.8
OpenStudy (hulagirlmb):
(Do you need help on that equation?)
