What's the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's slope is 3.

OpenStudy (igreen):

@Michalas Don't give answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Take any two points from the table. Let's take (5, 15) and (12, 36) Now we can plug them into the slope formula: \(m = \dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\). \(m = \dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\) \(m = \dfrac{36-15}{12-5}\) Can you simplify that? @The_Jokers_wife

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gives me 3 ?

OpenStudy (igreen):

@Michalas They want you to guide people to the answer, and you're not supposed to give it to them at all.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yep, it gives you 3..so that's your answer. \(m = \dfrac{36-15}{12-5}\) \(m = \dfrac{21}{7}\) \(m = 3\)
