I have a few questions about how to separate mixtures. If some one could check to see if my answers are correct, then that would be great! :D Here is the first question: Which method is appropriate for separating a mixture of iron and aluminum? A. using a magnet B. distillation C. evaporation D. observing different densities I am positive that the answer to this one is A. using a magnet.

This is the second question: Which method would be effective for separating salt and water in a mixture? A. evaporation B. using a magnet C. observing color differences D. chromatography I'm pretty sure that this one if also A. evaportation

And this is the third question: Which component in this mixture has the lowest density? A. glass B. water C. sawdust D. sand There is a picture of a cup with a glass lid and inside it there is water; the sawdust is floating in the jar and the sand is lying on the bottom. I am positive that the answer is C. sawdust.
