can someone help me. ill give medel and fan ya thanks :) Angelo took a group of people to the movies and spent $80 on tickets. Adult tickets cost $10, and child tickets cost $6. The equation to represent his cost is 10A + 6C = $80. If there were 5 children in the group, how many adult tickets did he purchase? Show your work and use a complete sentence to explain your solution in the context of the original problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is easy. You can multiply 5 time 6 and you will get $30 as the answer that means he spent $30 on child tickets and the rest on adult tickets

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so he bought 5 adult tickets

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. So, multilply the 6 and the five. That brings you to 30. Okay, now say 80 minus 30=what? Easy: 50 so now divide 50 by ten. That equals five so the answer is five adult tickets.
