I got 39 for 1... bc we know there's 33 2/3, and then you divide the 1/3 left by 3 and that's 11, 2/3 go into 11 5 times with 1/3 left over..add that 1/3 with the original 1/3 and that's 39! (Yes I know, that was extremely confusing! Lol) :))

5. is 21..bc we know there is 14 2/3's... and then we divide how many 1/3's are left by 2 and that gives us 7. 14+7=21.

6. Each friend gets 3/4lbs of trail mix..I just imagined it as quarters.. if you add 3/4+3/4+3/4 you get 2&1/4. Ex: $0.75+$0.75+$0.75=$2.25 (which is the same as 2&1/4)
