In your lab, a substance's temperature has been observed to follow the function T(x) = (x - 2)3 + 8. The turning point of the graph is where the substance changes from a solid to a liquid. Explain to your fellow scientists how to find the turning point of this function, using complete sentences.
\[T(x) = (x - 2)^3 + 8 \] @ganeshie8 @phi can either of you help me please
@Loser66
waaat?? is it not Physics??
this is math question lol
ha!! when seeing turning point from solid to liquid, my nightmare was back to me. hehehe.
Yea I did that last year in chemistry, it was kinda confusing. I don't know why this type of question is on a math assignment though .-.
Actually, I don't understand what the question is. If it asks for x, I am ok. But it is not directly saying that. So.. ... hihihi.... don't know how to solve.
So im not the only one that is lost on this ;p
@satellite73
could you ask @satellite73 to look at this?
haha, had the same idea
