Can someone proofread and edit this short essay im doing? I was nominated for the HOBY leadership seminar. It's a 100 or less word essay on the most rewarding and challenging aspect of being a leader in your school and community. I really want this, so please, give as much criticism as possible. I can't fit it in this so i'll post it in a moment.

The rewards of being a leader coincides with the challenges of being one. You can’t have one without the other. In order to reap the rewarding feeling of a job well done, you need to have the force  to move the project along. Planning and organization is key to being a successful leader in your community. But the feeling you get, looking at your project with everyone who helped and put in effort, makes everything worthwhile. Because in the end, whether it was a failure or success, is all up to you. Thats the biggest challenge, and the biggest reward.

In the 2nd to last sentence i think you should write ...., whether it IS a failure or success, it is all up to you.

That sounds GREAT in my opinion - it's brief yet straight forward and concise~

Change "coincides" to "coincide." Change "is" to "are" in sentence #4. Change "but" to "however," it sounds better. Be sure to put a comma after "however." 
Other than those things, great job! I like it. :)
