Create and justify two situations: one situation where Amari is correct and a separate situation where Justin is correct.

if you solved \[\sqrt{x}=-1\] there would be no solution since the square root is always positive
if you squared both sides you would get
\[x=1\] which does not fit the original equation, so it is an extraneous solution
