Is the function linear or nonlinear? x −2 0 1 3 4 y 4 8 10 14 16
Yes because for every 1 term increase in x 2 increase in y. 1:2 Also every 2 term increase in x 4 increase in y. 2:4 These are linear terms.
Thank you so much, another thing tho. Are these 2 graphs linear? http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1521500_1522000/1521641/1/45106daabb039490709ac7930163d044cf569bfc/MS_IMC-140821-060802.jpg http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1521500_1522000/1521642/1/061566b45ecf5eb13f60ca9716b4953c2fd1d1b1/MS_IMC-140821-060803.jpg
@Zynsarmour
im not sure completely sure because it does not give the numbers of the plots
is it 1 for each square?
Yes I believe so
But it looks like its increasing...
The first one is linear for sure because it is a constant pace.
They are increasing correct?
second one not completely sure but it probably isnt
yes they are
any more questions?
