As I am sitting at the far edge of the skate park, I see Sam going back and forth like a pinball on the ramp. Then, to my horror, I see Sam go flying into the air. He lands on his back and curses loudly. I run over to him. ''Oh god, Sam! Are you alright?'' He glares at me still cursing under his breath. In between cursing and yelling at the top of his lungs, he asks '' What does it look like?'' I sigh and pull to my phone, dialing 911. ''Your gonna be alright.'' I reassure him. He groans again as I give the operator our information. Then, a few moments later, I hear the sirens of the ambulance wailing. ''Your going to be alright.'' I keep repeating over and over again, more to reassure myself than to reassure him. As the paramedics load him onto the stretcher and then into the ambulance, he gives me a weak smile.I stand there, rooted to the spot as the ambulance rides away. I hope this helps, at least a little :)
