Help please!!! (: Choose the ordered pair that is a solution to the system of equations. -3x + 2y = 10 -2x - y = -5 A. (-2, 5) B. (2, -5) C. (0, -5) D. (0, 5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, choose any one of the pairs and substitute them in the equation. On paper or calculator.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

EITHER B OR C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

option D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

LoL . its easier to remember what to do in the future, if you solve it yourself.

@bree_ramos do you know the method of cross multiplication??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can some of you help me in something of math

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@rainbowgirl post your question, i am sure someone will always be there to help you.

A meteorologist wanted to show the number of inches of snow for each month during the past winter. Which type of graph would be best suited to display this information?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Princer_Jones cross multiply? can't you do the butterfly thing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah if its mixed fractoins

OpenStudy (anonymous):

rainbowgirl : the answer would probably be a bar graph for your question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know many methods, but when you have 2 linear equations in 2 unknowns, the cross multiplication methhod is the shortest method which gives the direct result

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so than I would just cross multiply it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@bree_ramos I am giving you a general rule. Write it down in the copy,...
