Lets use water for an example Cohesion- when you spill water on a table.....it tends to stay together Adhestion- When you wash your father's nice BMW, the water droplets stick to the car. Surface tension- When rain falls, the water droplet tend to stay in a droplet form (think of cohesion). It also allows some bugs to walk on water.
