@dabeezy was right. :) Slope-intercept form is y = mx+b Let's do Line 1 first. We know b is the y-intercept. And the y-intercept is when x=0 so b=3. We need to find the slope. m = y2-y1 / x2-x1 ... m = 5-3 / 1-0 ... m=2 Just plug in the values for b and m. :)

So would the answer be y = 2x +3 .. for both of them ?

yes, replace x with the x points to check your answer. if they add up to be the y coordinate, then your answer is correct. it seemed to be correct when i did math in my head
